A prayer & meditation station was set up on Maundy Thurs. and Good Friday in the Christ the King room. Participants going to the Prayer Vigil at the Altar of Repose in the Chapel could pray and reflect here as well. The altar in the chapel was set up with the Easter flowers for an all night prayer vigil at the altar of repose. Following the Seder Service until the Good Friday Service at noon. Click on the thumbnail for a larger version of the photo.

The Community Wide Good Friday Service was held at Christ Episcopal Church this year at noon on April 10, 2009. Christ Church hosted the Ecumenical Community wide Good Friday Service on April 10, 2009 that featured the veneration of the cross. Participants were asked to dip their finger in the ashes from Ash Wednesday and place them on the wood of the cross as well. Click on the photo for a larger version.
